With Energy Conservation Services, you will have hands-on involvement in the complete cycle of energy-efficient retrofitting. Day-to-day tasks can involve assisting with and conducting thorough building diagnostics and energy assessments, identifying areas where energy is wasted, installing insulation, and performing air sealing to minimize energy loss, particularly in historical buildings. We have made it our specialty to transform buildings with a rich past into models of modern energy efficiency, thereby preserving their historic charm while ensuring they meet today’s energy standards. We are currently inviting applications for the following positions:

Weatherization Technicians

As a Weatherization Technician, you’ll apply building science principles to install air sealing, insulation, and both passive and mechanical ventilation. We’re looking for individuals with a robust work ethic, a readiness to take initiative, a willingness to learn, and comfort working in tight spaces. Reliable transportation is a must. We provide all necessary Personal Protective Equipment.

In return, we offer paid holidays, personal and vacation time, sick leave, and a retirement plan. We also have potential health benefits and a salary structure that rewards experience and initiative, with regular pay increases. No experience? No problem. We’re ready to train the right candidate, and offer a starting pay of $32k annually.

Internship Opportunity: Building Science Assistant

Are you keen on building science? As an intern at Energy Conservation Services, you’ll learn about and handle cutting-edge diagnostic equipment, understand the “house as a system” concept, and get familiar with the tools needed to diagnose issues.
